A lot of the inspiration for this track was just me playing around with arpeggiation. I've been really into it lately and I think it helps make an electric sound feel more intense.

A funny story was, I actually had so many arps layered on top of each other during the latter half of the song that logic crashed. I couldn't even play a 1 beat section of that part without a system overload error.

Eventually, since the song was done it was basically just mixing at that point. I just decided to bounce it and see how it sounded and while it was bouncing the project, the fans inside my laptop started whirring like crazy. No exaggeration, it sounded like something in there was about to melt. It all turned out okay in the end.
